Hampton Court, 30 May 2017
The School Half Term holidays gave the opportunity to visit Henry VIII's favourite palace with dear friends and their families.
Because of the young ones this was a whistle stop tour of where we could access with the buggy, but it has made us determined to visit again.
Interesting statistics about the annual food and drink consumption of Henry VIII's court - 1240 oxen, 8200 sheep, 2330 deer, 760 calves, 1870 pigs, 53 wild boar and 600,000 bottles of wine.
