Like his views or not, he was one of the political giants of the last 60 years. A great speaker and we will not see the likes of him again. Passionate to the end.
Having renounced his life peerage (and dropping the "Wedgewood-" from his name) and even after being in government, his views got more Left Wing with time (or as normally happens, views get more Right Wing with age).
