The Pink Floyd Exhibition - Their Mortal Remains,
at the V&A, 20 May 2017
I am on record as liking Pink Floyd <see my Pink Floyd web page>, so when a major retrospective exhibition is announced at the Victoria and Albert Museum, of course I will go.
Was it any good ? Well, yes - it was.
Covered their whole career from the Arnold Layne and Bike days with Syd Barrett to the Endless River solo thing of Dave (sorry, David) Gilmour's of the last couple of years.
But it was mainly the good stuff, with a lot of insight and informative displays and films.
To be honest, this is a stunning and absolutely top notch exhibition.
These photos are from my trusty Canon Powershot SX240HS compact.
I was a little surprised that photography fascism was not evident, and thankful for that. I guess that as all the sound/music and voices were broadcast to the sennheiser headsets, music copyright issues were not a problem.
