Brighton - evening of 17 November 2018
The weather has turned at last and this was probably the last time Jenny and I might be able to get down to the coast for a potter about this year as winter takes hold.
I got back from my usual Mother Care visit to London, we got in the car and headed south to Brighton. It was dusk when we arrived and to be honest, I misjudged just how cold it would feel ! The wind was bitter and my two layers were just not enough.
After parking up in Marina Drive, the short stroll towards the pier seemed icy - so cold in fact that our first instinct was to get into the Harry Ramsden Fish and Chip shop to eat and warm up. A very nice Haddock and Chips hit the spot.
We finished up and headed towards the pier. Sadly, the cold easterly wind did for us again, and we soon ended up walking, with an undrinkable Hot Chocolate warming our hands as we went back to the car.
A warm house and cuddle sorted us out once we go back !
These photos are from my trusty Canon Powershot SX240HS compact with a couple from my IPhone 5S and Jenny's iPhone 8.
