Scotney Castle, 6 August 2020
Another visit with COVID-19 pre-booking necessary to the beautiful Scotney Castle grounds administered by the National Trust.
Nice use of natural materials do direct visitors around the one-way system.
Another excellent picnic by Jenny.
I am not sure if I have said this before, but the story is that the owners lived in the castle by the water, and decided to build a new house at the top of the hill. The old place was allowed to decay, becoming a "folly" in their view.
These photos are from my trusty Canon Powershot SX60HS compact.
