Windsor Castle , 15 April 2019
My birthday treat - Jenny, Layla and I went and took a look at Windsor Castle - with almost 900 years of history and 10 monarchs buried on site.
The restoration which followed the fire of 1992 in the St George’s Hall is really something to see, but photography is taboo inside the palace.
St George’s Chapel is lovely.
Jenny gave us a very tasty picnic for late lunch and the only mar on the day was the M25 being at a standstill because of a lorry and bus crash. All in all, a great day.
These photos are from my trusty Canon Powershot SX60HS compact with a couple from Jenny's SX720HS compact.
