Southsea, 18 April
Easter holidays, so we picked up Jen's neice Molly and popped down to Southsea.
I have never been and was surprised to find that there was no real beach - just a sea wall, I guess to aid navigation for the shipping.
Henry VIII , no less, thought that the location was strategic enough to build a "castle" to defend it.
I liked the large Esplanade park very much as well as the obvious long standing connection with Her Majesty's Navy.
There are many interesting things to distract the visitor.
Another good day.
These photos are from my trusty Canon Powershot SX60HS compact with a couple from Jenny's SX720HS compact.
