London's West End, 1 May 2021
To make the most of a day spent visiting Mum at the care home and checking on her flat, Jenny and I popped to nearby Leicester Square to see some nice movie and TV related statues and also chocolate central, M&M World (the Lego Store was busy , so we gave that a wide berth). The only miss was Bugs Bunny, who was hidden by an 8 foot screen.
It was our first London Day out for over a year. Crowds did not appear until after lunch, by which time we were on our way to Clapham and the care home.
Mum seemed in good spirits, if a little confused as to where she actually was. She was sharper than she has been at some visits over the past year or so.
An enjoyable day.
