Jake Bugg - Brixton Electric - 10 March 2016
with support from Georgie, Blossoms
Jake Bugg has been quiet of late, working on some new stuff.
A few weeks ago, five gigs in London on consecutive at various venues were announced. I opted for this one.
The set was short, at only an hour and twenty minutes but was very good, mixing old and new songs,. I was surprised at the omission of "Broken" from his first album as it is a massive crowd pleaser.
Two support acts - Singer Songwriter Georgie was OK, but not really my bag, together with Blossoms who rocked the place - a band from Stockport and a pretty good one.
These photos were taken on my trusty Canon Powershot SX240HS.
Some show just how many problems there are taking photos at gigs - microphone stands, lights, smoke and jigging!
