Hello Dear Reader,
Another age has gone by and it is almost December --- frightening !
Since my last update, the BIG NEWS is that first born James and girlfriend / partner of 9 years Tara got married while on holiday in Las Vegas.
I have stolen some of their wedding photos and put them up <HERE>
I have had a pretty varied few weeks and helped out a friend a little by looking after her 7 year old for the day at half term.
Layla and I had a tiring but really lovely time.
I did learn that young boys and girls have different sensibilities - if you tell a girl not to touch an electric cattle fence they stay well away, but in my experience the opposite is true for boys !
A few days later on 30 October, we got together again and went to visit Virginia Water. I had never been before, and it was really nice. Hot chocolate rewards after the walking too!
My Mum had a "bit of a do" and ended up in hospital for about a week after a fall at her flat. Carers could not gain access and the Metropolitan Police came quickly and had to break down the door.
Luckily, although a bit shaken she is back at her flat now.
Cubs Scouts is back in full flow and we are now up to about 20 Cubs.
We had a Halloween themed evening and among other games played "Where's The Mummy?", where teams had to wrap a leader with toilet roll.
Cubs Scouts is celebrating it's centenary on 16 December.
17 November - La Femme played a great gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire. I understood few of the french language lyrics, but I love this band. <Gig Page Here>
Apart from having a <Chilly Stroll In Westminster>, I think that brings us just about up to date.
Until next time, Dear Reader
Not so much a blog... more a bit of a catchup over a cuppa
Hopefully wise without being a Wise Guy.
