23/2/2018 0 Comments I love this song - Extra - "We Have All The Time In The World" by Louis ArmstrongI heard this tune this morning and as always happens when I hear it, stopped and listened. In my opinion, one of the best Bond songs, from the underated George Lazenby outing in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", with lyrics by Hal David and Music by John Barry. The great Louis Armstrong vocal, simple lyrics and fabulous arrangement make this very special. Sentimental, hopeful, optimistic and forward looking, but as used in the context of the film, incredibly sad. Spoiler Alert: Bond falls in love and marries Tracy Di Vicenzo (Diana Rigg) who is shot and killed in a Spectre attack on his car after leaving their wedding. The song title is taken from Bond's final words in the movie (and book), spoken while cradling his wife's body. Heart breaking. "We have all the love in the world If that's all we have You will find We need nothing more" "Every step of the way Will find us With the cares of the world Far behind us" "We have all the time in the world Just for love Nothing more Nothing less Only love" "We Have All The Time In The World"
